Check the wear degree of the water seal and bakelite gasket, if it exceeds the use limit, it should be replaced with a new part.
2. After the water pump is taken out, it can be decomposed in order. After decomposition, the parts should be cleaned, and then checked one by one to see if there are cracks, damage and wear and other defects. If there are serious defects, they should be replaced.
3. Repair of water seal and seat: If the water seal is worn, it can be smoothed with emery cloth. If it is worn too much, it should be replaced. If the water seal seat has rough scratches, it can be repaired with a flat reamer or on the lathe. A new water seal assembly should be replaced during overhaul.
4.In the water pump body with the following damage is allowed to weld repair: does not extend to the bearing seat hole cracks; The flange connecting with the cylinder head has a broken part; The oil seal seat hole is damaged. Damaged impeller blades should be replaced. Pump shaft bore serious wear should be replaced or insert repair.
5. Checking whether the water pump bearing rotation is flexible or abnormal sound, if there is a problem with the bearing, should be replaced.
6.After the water pump is assembled, turn it by hand, the water pump shaft should have no stuck, the impeller and the pump shell should have no collision. Then check the pump displacement, if there is a problem, should check the cause and rule out. If the pump fails, the coolant will not be able to reach the corresponding place, and its performance will not be effectively played, ultimately affecting the operation of the engine. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the inspection of the water pump.
